The PTA, SAC and FABE are all in need of new members and leadership for the coming year. Many of the parents who have worked hard to make many things happen at our school will move on with their middle school children. If you think you would like to learn more about these organizations, feel free to call any of the memebers to ask how you can participate now or next year.

If your child is in Kindergarten or first grade, I would personally like to hear from you. There are many opportunities for you to enhance your child's education during your stay!

In the News

As we approach a new year please consider growing in your volunteer leadership. Take time to come visit the School Advisory Council whose charge is to oversee academic growth and school enhancements for Atlantic Beach Elementary.

Our new principal is anxious and ready to take on the challenge of continuous improvement, growing teachers, improving curriculum and more. We are proud of our school and can look back at recent improvements that have been brought about by a committed parent group.

The PTA and Friends of Atlantic Beach have contributed the inspiration and manpower behind the myriad of improvements we all can now enjoy. A unique joint land use agreement with Atlantic Beach allows for much needed campus improvements. Our children have the opportunity to enjoy a new track, field and playground equipment. Many trees and landscape improvements have been added to the campus.

This year, the school board is working to improve parking slated to be complete this school year.

Much has been done and there is more to do to continue to improve our neighborhood school, maintain standards and the facility. Please join us to learn more about the upcoming projects, some of which may be calling for your passion and experience.
